To draw attention to the child’s will, rights, and obligations in Turkish and Slovenian laws within the context of Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
- * The panel took place with the attendance of academicians and legal professionals from Slovenia and Turkey.
- * Discussions focused on legal arrangements in both countries towards the fundamental rights and freedoms of children, and to what extent these arrangements are implemented in practice in the light of current events.
- * The event also drew attention to the positive developments in both countries that promote respecting the view of the child. The practice and shortcomings of the effective legislations are discussed from a critical point of view.
