Generel Information

Dr. Michelle Rupiper from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln gave an invited talk as the guest of the Department of Psychology at Özyeğin University. The talk presented a special focus on how nature provides a rich environment to support development and learning in all areas for children from all ages. In her talk, Dr. Michelle Rupiper elaborated on how children’s interaction with the nature develops their executive functions and how these natural environments can be used to further develop these skills. Dr. Rupiper also gave a workshop on May 29 to participants from Turkish universities and early childhood education institutions on how natural environments can be used to support children’s socioemotional development and to further promote their development and learning.
