To bring together our Faculty of Architecture and Design students on an international platform with the guest students and faculty members from Italy at our University (24 master’s students from the University of Parma, and 7 students from the Universita degli Studi Mediterranea di Regio Calabria).
The International Urban Design Workshop: Urban Façade Istanbul Waterfront led by Associate Prof. Alessandro Camiz, our faculty member at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, took place at Özyeğin University from March 23 to March 30, 2019. The workshop was organized jointly by Özyeğin University and the University of Parma with the support of the Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Naples Federico II, the Department of Architecture University of Florence, and Universita degli Studi Mediterranea di Regio Calabria. Participants included faculty members and students from these universities. The event was also supported by the Büyükkent Branch of the Chamber of Architects in Istanbul, and the History of Cities (Stroia della Citta) in Italy.
