The main purpose of this conference is to underline the inequalities created by the neoliberal economic order. With economic inequalities rising sharply in today’s world, the conference draws attention to a highly significant political matter.

How should be the relationship between the state and corporations? In the light of this question, the conference seeks to offer a critique of neoliberalism. Neoliberalism denies the relationship between the state and corporations, and hence takes a market-oriented stance to the matter. If we acknowledge it as a problem, we have a better chance of taking a more comprehensive look into the inequalities created by corporations.
